Just walked by one afternoon and noticed it was packed with locals. Stopped back the very next day. Ended up having lunch here twice in an 8-day stay in Roma.
Really the most authentic unpretentious place we ate in the whole week. A family run business - wait staff very attentive - to the locals and Americans equally. Prices very reasonable - good homestyle food - a new menu every day - when an item sells out for the day - that's it. Were disappointed our first day that the artichoke lasagna was sold out (we were there after 2pm) - but we were very happy with what we ordered instead.

One day had a house white wine - very nice. The second day bought a bottle of Dolcetto in the store (it's Enoteca Corsi - after all) - and enjoyed it with our meal.
A great find - highly recommended.

Great meal on last night of an 8-day stay in Roma!

Was unaware of all the exposure that this restaurant had received in the US - just looked in the window walking by one morning - and liked what I saw. Came back the next day in the morning and made a reservation for that same night. Came in at the reserved time - and was seated immediately - service was attentive.

Just the two of us - enjoyed the Tonnarelli alla Cuccagna - and the lamb (Abbacchio alla Cacciatora) - lamb braised with white wine - and just a touch of vinegar to brighten it up and balance out the rich/fatty meat - perfect.

Accompanied by a nice, reasonably priced Barbera.  Another typical - very-good - meal in Roma!

Can't compare it to any other place in Rome - (it's the only espresso I've had in Rome so far) . But I can say best espresso I've ever had (so far). It's all about the crema! A solid 1/4 inch of crema in a double espresso -!! Drink the caffe and then eat the crema with the spoon provided. Unbelievably good! Plan to buy the beans to bring home - but already know I won't be able to reproduce the crema in my humble abode with a pedestrian espresso machine - oh well - only in Roma @ Sant'Eustachio.

Went here based on a recommendation - and it was soooo good that we didn't try the gelato anywhere else during our 8-day stay!

Super rich and creamy with a tremendous depth of flavor in every flavor you try. And if you really want to go "over the top" they ask you if you want a dollop of fresh whipped cream on top - oh boy!

Run - don't walk - to Giolitti!

Just perfect.

So happy that we rented an apartment in the Jewish Ghetto for our 8-day stay in Roma! If we hadn't been staying on this block we never would have found this little gem of a kosher bakery.

"Found" it by noticing a line of locals standing in the doorway. Got on the line - and without speaking any Italian - just pointed and asked for the number of items (in Italian) bought a delicious sampling of things. Almond macaroons to die for - and really delicious almond biscotinni (little semi-firm "bites".) Delicious!

Stopped in a few times during our stay.

Can't go wrong lining up behind a group of locals!

Great pizza!
Be prepared to wait - long lines at dinner time - but worth the wait. Go on the early side the wait isn't as bad.

No frills - have a beer - the house wine is not great. Don't bother with the green salad - just ok. Get the PIZZA! The "Dar Poeta" pizza is the one to get - best toppings IMHO.

Great pizza - on par with Forno Campo de' Fiori. Each variety of pizza at Roscioli is worth a try - any and all topping combos simply delicious. You can't go wrong with which ever you choose.

We went one night for dinner.  It was all delicious - and the service was outstanding!! Our waiter was Daniel - and he was the nicest guy - and was very helpful with the wine list - really made us feel at home.  Put yourself in the waiter's hands and he won't disappoint.  All the pastas were   great - perfectly cooked and sauced.  The burrata very fresh - but the semi-dried cherry tomatoes "stole the spotlight" on that dish!    The best food experience of this trip: the food + the hospitality = A meal to remember!

Pizza and sandwiches made with unbelievably good Pizza Bianca - and simple Italian salumi inside - no more than 3 ingredients in any one - so you can appreciate the taste of the bread. Go early and go often - try them all! Each variety is better than the last!
