This tempranillo comes from a new winery (only been making wine since 2002).  The 2004 vintage was only the second vintage bottled.  

It is clearly a passion-project that has resulted in a very good wine that has consistently received 90+ point reviews.

We enjoyed this bottle with burgers cooked on the grill over a wood fire.  The tempranillo stood up very well to the wood smoke!
